ATC Retention Frequently Asked Questions



  1. What kinds of support services are available to students at ATC?
    • Student support services range from intensive tutoring, career exploration, counseling, disability services, one-on-one academic guidance, and planning

  2. I have a "see Retention Coordinator" hold on my account. What does that mean?
    • When a student has a particular hold, they must contact 706-277-7001 or medney@athenstech.edu to create a Student Success Plan. Students are required to complete the plan and meet with the Retention Coordinator in order to either receive financial aid or full readmission to the college.

  3. If I am struggling academically, who can I contact?
    • Students who are struggling academically may contact the Retention Coordinator at 706-227-7001.
