ATC Retention
Students are referred to the Retention Coordinator when they are placed on Academic Dismissal, Financial Aid Exclusion, or are in need of Academic Counseling. Once students meet with the Retention Coordinator, students develop a plan of action to address any academic weaknesses. Students are required to meet with the Retention Coordinator twice each semester by phone, email, or an in-person meeting.
Students are required to maintain a 2.0 or 2.5 GPA while on their specific academic plan of action. Students are required to attend tutoring and utilize various student support services.
If a student does not adhere to their specific academic plan, they may be at risk of going back on academic dismissal or financial aid exclusion.
Students are monitored at various checkpoints during the semester by the Retention Coordinator for the purpose of providing Early Intervention Services.
Students are personally responsible for implementation of any services or supports recommended by the Retention Coordinator.
For further assistance, please contact the Retention Coordinator at 706-227-7001.
