The International Club
Purpose
The purpose of the International Club is to plan and organize cultural, educational, and social activities which build friendships and unity between the international and American students at ATC; to promote understanding between cultures; and to provide a link between international students and the Athens Technical College community.
Specifically, the International Club shall:
a) increase awareness of and encouragement in international development through academic and technical education;
b) promote opportunities for sharing international/intercultural expertise;
d) encourage faculty, staff, and student participation in international education activities;
e) develop an international perspective in the ATC community.
Membership Eligibility
Membership in the International Club shall be open to all currently enrolled students who have an interest and is willing to contribute to the purpose of the International Club. Dues are not required for membership.

Typical Activities
It is up to the club members to decide what activities they would like to participate in each year, but the students may want to go to local cultural events, befriend international students who will be coming to Athens Technical College with student visas, celebrate International Education Week, participate in the annual International Festival, have special guest speakers attend their monthly meetings, hold fundraisers to fund the organization mission, volunteer for community service projects, etc.
